An ad for Microsoft...but still wildly creative

Since Microsoft's major marketing flop--which just so happened to utilize (cost:$10 million) the comedy of one of my favorite funny persons (Seinfeld)--there hasn't been much to positively talk about with the creative marketing efforts of Microsoft.  Until now.  Check this out...



This latest creation comes from Dennis Liu, an up-and-coming director known for catchy music videos and instant-hit internet videos.  When you stop and look at how much work went into this, I think you'll come to the same conclusion that I did.  Wildly creative!  

While watching this video (thanks to TUAW), I was reminded of the music video for Her Morning's Elegance by Oren Lavie.  This was a freebie awhile back on iTunes.  Even if you'd rather not pay for the $1.99 video, you can get a flavor of it by watching the preview in iTunes. 

In both videos, the creativity and ingenuity are apparent.  Do you agree?
